By accessing this website and enrolling in our courses, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use the Creative Media Skills website or services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Definitions

- “You”, “Your”, “Student”, “Participant” refers to the individual accessing this website or enrolling in our courses.
- “Course” refers to any training program offered by Creative Media Skills.
- “Website” refers to creative-media-skills.com and all associated pages.
2. Course Enrollment and Acceptance
2.1 Application Process
- All course applications are subject to review and acceptance by Creative Media Skills.
- We reserve the right to decline applications at our discretion.
- Acceptance onto a course is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Creative Media Skills.
2.2 Entry Requirements
- Some courses may have prerequisite experience or qualifications.
- Professional courses typically require 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Beginners courses are open to individuals with no prior experience.
- All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
2.3 Course Places
- Course places are limited to a maximum of 10 participants per course.
- Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis following acceptance.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel courses with fewer than minimum required participants.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Course Fees
- All course fees are as quoted at the time of booking.
- Fees are subject to change without notice for future course dates.
- Once confirmed, your course fee is fixed at the quoted rate.
3.2 Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on a course.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the course start date.
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or debit card.
- Late payments may result in loss of your course place.
3.3 What’s Included
- Course fees include tuition, course materials, and access to facilities during training hours.
- Fees do not include accommodation, travel, meals, or personal equipment unless otherwise stated.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellation by the Student
- Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the course start date: Full refund minus the deposit.
- Cancellations made 4-8 weeks before the course start date: 50% refund of fees paid.
- Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before the course start date: No refund.
- All cancellations must be made in writing to info@creative-media-skills.com.
4.2 Cancellation by Creative Media Skills
- In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a course, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid.
- Alternatively, you may transfer to an alternative course date at no additional cost.
- We are not liable for any consequential losses arising from course cancellation.
4.3 Course Transfers
- Requests to transfer to a different course date must be made at least 4 weeks before the original start date.
- Transfer requests are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.
- Only one transfer per enrollment is permitted.
4.4 Non-Attendance
- Failure to attend a course without prior notice will result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
- Partial attendance does not entitle you to a partial refund.
5. Course Conduct and Expectations
5.1 Professional Conduct
- All participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times.
- Respect for instructors, fellow participants, and facilities is mandatory.
- Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
5.2 Health and Safety
- Participants must follow all health and safety guidelines provided.
- Any medical conditions that may affect participation must be disclosed prior to the course.
- Creative Media Skills reserves the right to exclude participants who pose a safety risk.
5.3 Attendance
- Full attendance is expected for all scheduled sessions.
- Late arrivals may be refused entry to protect the learning experience of other participants.
- Repeated absences may affect certificate issuance.
5.4 Substance Policy
- Participants must not attend training under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Course Materials
- All course materials, including handouts, presentations, and resources, are the intellectual property of Creative Media Skills.
- Materials are provided for personal educational use only.
- Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of materials is strictly prohibited without written consent.
6.2 Student Work
- Work created during courses remains your property.
- By participating, you grant Creative Media Skills permission to photograph and record training sessions for promotional purposes.
- If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, please inform us in writing before the course begins.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 Personal Property
- Creative Media Skills is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought onto the premises.
- Participants should ensure their belongings are adequately insured.
7.2 Course Outcomes
- While we strive to provide the highest quality training, we cannot guarantee employment outcomes.
- Certificates of completion are issued based on attendance and participation, not examination results.
7.3 Maximum Liability
- Our maximum liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the course fees paid by you.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
8. Data Protection
- We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- By enrolling in a course, you consent to the processing of your data as described therein.
- You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data upon request.
